About PRPS

PRAN-RFL Public School (PRPS) is an educative initiative by PRAN-RFL Group with a view to providing high standard of education to the children of its employees and compatriots. It’s totally a non-profit institute, established in 2014 from the point of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities) view.

Major Gen Amjad Khan Chowdhury (Retd), CEO, PRAN-RFL Group and founder of this great institute dreamt to make PRPS a leading educational institute in the country by providing the community with quality, time standard education, education-friendly facilities and congenial environment required to learn and grow to the fullest sense.
Facilities include high standard teaching staff, well-equipped and well-decorated specious classroom, computer lab, large campus and open fields for running wide range of sports and extra-curricular activities throughout the year. Alongside proper education we create fun-loving and caring atmosphere for intellectual growth of little angles and students in the upper classes.

The PRAN-RFL Public School is such a seat of education where students are the centre of every learning activity, where personal attention is given to every child to discover latent potentials. So, our mission is to nurture each and every child, focus on physical and intellectual development of students, shape and mold the children who will one day be good leaders and define who we are as a community and as a nation.

Teaching Staff

Principal is Professional teacher having 10 years of experience as principal in a leading English Medium Institute. He is leading a team of qualified and experienced teachers with different educational background & knowledge.
Drawing teachers is with Fine Arts background and cultural coordinator is with special background having vast experience of national and overseas culture.
Physical instructor’s hiring is under process. Good instructor having sports background and professional experience of running sports and parade will be hired soon.

Teaching Methods

The overall teaching approach of PRPS is effective, integrated and time standard. We focus on teachers’ performance and learners’ participation in classroom practice.

To Make It Happen PRPS Follows

  • Techniques of assessment and evaluation
  • Lesson planning & use of digital content in the class
  • Various games, refreshers and co-curricular activities
Curriculum

Students learn best when they are active and involved, when they are encouraged to think for themselves and when they participate in solving their own problems and challenges. The curriculum therefore focuses on student-centered learning using appropriate teaching and learning strategies such as group and active learning. Basic literacy level skills are consistently emphasized in the classroom.
Interactive education encourages students to ask questions, pursue independent lines of inquiry and develop interest and expertise in a broad range of knowledge.

  • Beside compulsory subjects and text books, some extra books are included in the syllabus to build strong foundation of students.
  • Special attention is given to English to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skill up to the mark.
  • Special classes are taken to improve learners’ pronunciation and fluency in English.
  • In addition, much importance is given on hand writing.
Admission Policy
  • PRPS admits children of all races, colors, national and ethnic origins and ensures all right, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies.
  • Prospective students will have to qualify in admission test to take admission in PRPS. No admission test will be held for entry class.
  • Children aged 4-5 years are eligible for admission in the entry class of the school.
School Uniform and Rules:
  • Students must maintain dress code during academic hour.
  • School remains closed on Friday as weekly holiday.
  • If any student remains absent from school, his/her parents should submit an application in the school within 3 dayes.
  • If any student remains absent from school for a month without informing school authority, his/her name will be struck off the roll.
Students Assessment
  • Three major exams from nursery to five and 2 major exams from six to Eight are held in a year.
  • Before each exam adequate number of class tests are taken.
  • Final Result is made on average marks of major exams.
  • Before each exam a number of reading, spelling and dictation tests are taken.
Extra-curricular Activities

In order to make the students physically and mentally strong, we arrange games & sports and a wide range of extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

  • Cultural program and other programs on the occasion of various national days are organized.
  • Students achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the preceding year merit list are awarded.
  • Students standing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in any competition and extra-cultural activities are awarded.
Steps Taken to Grow Nationalism

All the national days are observed in the school premises to awaken the nationalism in the students.

Fee Structure

PRPS follows a quite reasonable fee structure which is lower than other institutions with the aim of providing service to the larger group of people in the community.
To make our dream true we mould students in such way that a student does

  • Show due respect to teachers and parents
  • Develop creativity and individually in them
Syllabus before Academic year

Guardians are provided with the syllabus before an academic year starts.
To complete the syllabus is not our main goal but to get into the depth of the topic is our aim.

Yearly Holiday

The holidays are determined as per the list of govt. holidays.
Other optional holidays are considered in the school holidays.
PRPS dreams to make a student a complete human being and we strongly believe that this dream will become true.

School Library
  • We’ve opened a School Library at PRAN-RFL Public School, Ghorasal.
  • Now the library has become one of the hallmarks of our school. It is open for our students and teachers.
  • It serves as storehouse of information and knowledge related to prescribed text books and beyond. Aim is to cultivate reading habit amongst students.
  • If you want to give us your favorite books from your collection or any book that you recommend for students as good sources of knowledge and entertainment, we’ll display in library for the use of our students. In this case pls write your name, designation, Dept/Com/BU, Group and Phone Num in the inner page of the book you want to give.
  • Your spontaneous contribution towards the enrichment of our library will be appreciated.
