PRAN-RFL Public School (PRPS) is one of the most reputed educational institutions in Narsingdi. It is located beside the Ghorashal Bypass at Palash Upazila, approximately 50 kilometers from the heart of the capital city.
PRPS was established in 2014 by the visionary leader Major General Amjad Khan Chowdhury, former CEO of PRAN-RFL Group. The school is fully operated by PRAN-RFL Group under the guidance of a dynamic School Management Committee. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, CEO & Chairman of PRAN-RFL Group, directly oversees the institution.
Students from Pre-Primary to Class X study at PRPS in a clean, safe, secure, friendly, and disciplined environment. The school follows the National Curriculum in both Bangla and English versions.
Both teachers and students strictly follow a specific dress code, which makes PRPS unique.
PRPS is under 24-hour CCTV surveillance and has round-the-clock solar power coverage. The school ensures a constant supply of pure drinking water along with an excellent sanitation system. We always keep PRPS green and clean.
PRPS has three large modern buildings named Padma, Meghna, and Jamuna. There are 40 classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art SMART facilities. All classrooms are spacious, airy, and divided into sections. The school operates in two shifts—Morning and Day. Currently, PRPS accommodates around 2,000+ students and 45+ teachers. School hours run from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There are two spacious playgrounds in front of the school. Each day begins with a well-organized Morning Assembly. Students actively participate in football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton, and various indoor and outdoor games. PRPS earns recognition every year in inter-school games and sports competitions.
The PRPS canteen provides healthy food items at reasonable prices.
On the ground floor of the Padma Building, there is a large corridor, an Achievement Corner, Teachers’ Common Room, School Library, Liberation War Corner, School Auditorium, Kids’ Zone, Teachers’ Dining Room, and the Administrative Office.
PRPS has a well-enriched school library with more than 4,000+ books, including rare collections. Students can read in the library and also borrow books to take home. Every year, many students receive awards for participating in the Book Reading Competition organized by the Bissho Sahitto Kendro.
On the first floor, there are a Computer Lab, Exam Control Room, Conference Room, Vice Principal’s Office, Principal’s Office, Pre-Primary Classrooms, and a First Aid Room. Other floors contain classrooms, science laboratories, Teachers’ Common Rooms, and prayer rooms.
The teachers of PRPS are compassionate and dedicated. They teach with care and commitment. All teachers are highly educated and well trained. The Principal, an M.A., B.Ed. degree holder, is a person of strong discipline and principles.
PRPS provides transport facilities for students who come from distant areas.
The school observes numerous annual events such as Annual Sports Week, Prize Giving Ceremony, Annual Prayer, Study Tours, Science Fair, Science Olympiads, Spelling Bee, Talent Hunt, Ramadan Competition, and all National and International Days.
PRPS has a strong tradition of co-curricular activities including dance, debate, drama, music, and recitation. The school also has active Boys Scouts and Girl Guides teams. One of our ex-students, Ayman Bhuiyan Apon (SSC Batch 2025), was selected for the President Scouts Award 2023.
The public examination results of PRPS are excellent. Almost 100% of students pass the SSC Examination every year, with many achieving A+ grades. PRPS also excels in Junior and Primary Scholarship results.
